Seacoast United has always made it our mission to further develop the game of soccer in the area. "We are thrilled to be able to offer our experience to help maximize the potential of any town looking to take the next step in development,” says Ian Burgess, Chief Operating Officer at Seacoast United.
In a partnership with any town, Seacoast United will work very closely with all of the coaches involved in the town’s program, from the travel to the recreational level. SUSC will set up and implement a curriculum that will create consistency not only from recreational levels to travel, but also from one age group to the next. As a result of our years of experience as well as a very diverse coaching staff, Seacoast United is able to offer a wide range of programs from youth programs and summer camps, all the way to advanced training clinics for both players and coaches.
When asked why Seacoast United is willing to partner with surrounding towns, Owen Ballard (Director of Youth Programs and Summer Camps) responded, "Soccer is ’the beautiful game’, and we will take any chance we can to assure that players at any level can experience it."
Seacoast United has now expanded into partnering with area youth baseball organizations. Seacoast United Pirates Baseball Club offers player development clinics throughout the winter months indoors, as well as camps during the summer months.
If you are interested in a partnership with Seacoast United for your town, feel free to e-mail Owen Ballard at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact by phone at 603-758-7118.
Andover, MA – Seacoast United MA North recently launched a brand-new initiative with Andover Youth Soccer (AYS). Since moving to Greater Lawrence Technical School in July, the club has been able to increase its presence in the surrounding community including working with the local soccer club out of Andover.
For the past couple of Saturdays, Seacoast United’s professional coaches have helped run training sessions. Due to COVID-19, the majority of town and recreational programs were forced to cancel or heavily modify their program offerings this fall due to the lack of facility access. Seacoast United MA North introduced this program in an effort to make sure players of all ages and abilities from Andover were able to participate in soccer this fall.
“The turnout has been fantastic these past couple of weeks and both the players and coaches have been a joy to work with.” Commented Seacoast United MA North Program Director Luke Cosgrove. “The fields at Greater Lawrence Technical School have been a massive help and it certainly has helped us when it comes to offering programs.” Cosgrove went on to say, “We had over 140 players on Saturday ranging from 3rd to 7th graders and we are counting down the days until the next session.”
