Seacoast United Essex Field Hockey Club Evaluations (2017-2018)

The Seacoast United Essex Field Hockey Club is excited to offer local field hockey players the opportunity to train during the field hockey off-season throughout the winter, spring and summer months.  The overall mission of the club program is to make a difference within the field hockey community in the surrounding area by providing quality opportunities for growth and development of novice to experienced field hockey players.  When it comes to the overall success of the club program, it is evident that it comes from the genuine support and enthusiasm of the coaching staff, players and parents within the club program.

The Seacoast United Essex Field Hockey Club evaluations (2017-2018) are available to all local field hockey players at the novice, intermediate or advanced levels that are looking to continue to improve their skill work and game play in the off-season.  THERE IS A PLACE WITHIN THE SEASCOAST UNITED ESSEX FIELD HOCKEY CLUB FOR ALL PLAYERS WHO ATTEND THE EVALUATIONS DURING THE FALL! However, all players will be placed within the most appropriate level according to their two evaluations during the fall and the 7-week assessment training (November/December).

** Seacoast United Essex Field Hockey Club follows the “U” standards set by USA FIELD HOCKEY (USAFH) to determine the age group of a player for purposes of league and tournament play.  The “U” means “Under”, for example, an athlete’s age on December 31st for that given year determines what age group the athlete will be in for the following year.  If the athlete is 15 on December 31st and turns 16 on January 1st, the player will remain in the U16 age group.  Again, the age of the athlete on December 31st determines their age group for the following year**

IT IS MANDATORY THAT PLAYERS ATTEND AT LEAST ONE OF THE TWO TRYOUT DATES!  All players who register for evaluations will only be asked to register once and pay the one time evaluation fee of $30.00 dollars.  Also, all players who attend evaluations this fall will receive a Seacoast United Field Hockey t-shirt!  Happy Hockey!
