BRANTON, COSGROVE TO JOIN SEACOAST UNITED STAFF IN MASSACHUSETTS

March 4th, 2019

HAMPTON, NH – Seacoast United Sports Club Inc. announces the addition of two new technical directors to its coaching staff.  Andy Branton and Luke Cosgrove will join the club’s Massachusetts operation effective March 1st.

Both Branton and Cosgrove are familiar faces within the North Shore, having previously worked with Aztec SC as well as area high school/collegiate programs.  They will be working to establish a footprint in the North Shore alongside Seacoast United’s current staff based in Amesbury and the greater Merrimack Valley to further the level of soccer in the region from the grassroots level all the way through Seacoast United’s US Soccer Development Academy program.

“To further advance Seacoast United Elite NPL teams and our US Soccer Development Academy program to the highest level in New England, we felt the introduction of well-known experienced full-time staff to the North Shore area was an inevitable step,” commented Iain Scott, Seacoast United Director of Soccer Operations.

Andy and Luke will join USSF “A” license coach Greg Cosgrove in ensuring players within the North Shore region have convenient access to the highest level soccer programs moving forward.

“I am extremely thrilled to join the Seacoast United coaching staff and look forward to being a part of their sporting culture as well as a contributing member of the team,” said Luke Cosgrove.  “Additionally, having the opportunity to work alongside and collaboratively with Andy Branton again is extremely exciting in itself. I know that between the two of us we can help provide the best environment for player development in the area and assist in SUSC’s philosophy of providing a complete player pathway for both boys and girls at all ages.”

“The opportunity to provide an area such as the North Shore of Massachusetts with a clear and concise pathway to the highest level of youth soccer was something I couldn’t wait to be a part of,” said Andy Branton.  “With the support of such an experienced and talented staff and access to top quality facilities, we are extremely confident we can deliver a tremendous product to the many talented young players in the area.”

Player Identification sessions will take place this spring, specific dates will be announced in March.  For more information please visit www.seacoastunitedma.com
